Speaker Jim Napolitano; "Modern Measurements of Neutrino Oscillations"; The neutrino, postulated by Pauli in 1930 and discovered by Reines & Cowan in 1956, had long been assumed to be massless...I will review the history of neutrino oscillations, including the very basic quantum mechanics which describes the phenomenon, and the pivotal experiments performed over the past decade.
